Doctors, Tests and the Elderly.

I think the reason why I don't post more often is because I really dislike this keyboard.  Keys too undefined, too close together etc etc.       If I have my right hand accidentally  touches  the number keys  it will go into a stupid scroll, delete post attack.          It's not as though there isn't enough things happening to tell you about.   There is.
My partner has a very slow heart rate and so we have been traipsing in and out of doctors offices and hospitals, getting tests and seeing cardiac specialists.

Looks like he'll have to have a Pacemaker.  The lovely Cardiac Surgeon said that they are easy to put in but difficult to remove if it doesn't fix the problem.  Hence,  more CT scans and blood tests.
There was the problem of test results not being found at our last visit.  The Drs and staff are just so nice and it is appreciated so much.

I come home a little depressed after seeing all the elderly people and know that is ahead for me.  Old age just stinks.    One lady told me that she had lost 42kgs since December and they can't find what is causing it. She thinks it is cancer...  Her husband has Alzheimer's  Disease and some days he is really angry.  So she is coping with both problems at an age that it should all be easy sailing.

Anyway.......  I'm having a lovely "time out" this morning.    It's cool and a beautiful  sunny day.
I have no plans for it.   May make some lovely soap. May not!

I hope you and yours are all well and  are going to have a wonderful day.
Take care.  xo

old age is shitty if you get bad luck in the health department. My dad likes to tell me its better than the alternative. When I would visit my Gran in the old folks home I sure took some convincing of that

Hope all goes well with your partners pacemaker

Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your
favorite reason seemed to be at the net the simplest thing
to understand of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed
whilst people consider issues that they just don't recognize about. You managed to hit the nail upon the highest as neatly as outlined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will likely be again to get more. Thank you

thanks Sharron. With all the tests he has to have we are finding out how healthy he really is.

Oh how I wish I was old enough to have all these health problems. I'm way too young to feel this damn old as Gareth Brooks used to sing!!! Too true. However as you say the alternative ain't much fun!!! Keep young in mind and you'll do OK. Keep smiling and have everything crossed for you! Love Karen x

You're right, growing old can be tough....not for sissies they say. But it beats the alternative!!!
