I've discovered green smoothies and am in my 10th day of drinking them. I joined a 14 day challenge to drink 1 a day and even though I am not using a lot of fruit in them as per the recipes, they are yummy.
I throw in any green leaves with a cup of water, salt and pepper , a little lemon juice. If I have some fruit to put in, all the better. My energy levels are rising as of today. I like the whole idea. The cleaning up is easy and because we have lots of green leafed vegetables growing in the garden, the supply is steady. Not much weight loss yet. I seem to get bogged down in just day to day living and not in the mood to weigh food or count calories yet.
